Complete Guide: Fix Windows 10 Upgrade Stuck at 0% or 99%.
I have and it uses a TAP driver, I was thinking maybe that causes the issue, but if you don’t I can rule that one out aswell. Download again and try to install the Update v Had several lesser updates that were blocking the update. Resetting the Windows Update Components should ideally resolve most of the update and installation issues. You can even consider downloading the latest driver from the manufacturer website. Make Sure that you have enough free disk space at least 32GB before installing the update. I tried all suggestions but yours is the only one that worked for me!

If that has been like that for 12 hours, you have no other option, press and hold the Power Button on your PC for 5 – 10 seconds to perform a hard shut down, then restart your PC That update will either have completed or it ill roll back.
In reply to DaveM’s post on January 18, Will try that now. Stay tuned.
